FAQs

What is your typical turnaround time for printing?

If you can let us know your deadline, we’ll always do our best to meet it. For same‑day or under‑24‑hour turnarounds, a 25% priority surcharge may apply during busy periods when your job needs to jump the queue.

Can I get a document printed out?

We offer a document printing service  - just email your file over to office@penrithposers.co.uk and collect it in‑store during our opening hours. There’s a minimum charge of £2.50 for this service..

Do you print for wedding and events?

Yes - we print a wide range of event and wedding essentials, from invitations and menus to posters, packaging, roller banners and vinyl banners. We know these projects can be completely bespoke (and sometimes a little complex), so feel free to get in touch. We’re always here to help

Can I print photos in store?

We don’t offer in‑store photo printing, but we do have a handy website for ordering your prints. Just place your order online and collect your photos the next working day.

Can you help with design if I don’t have artwork?

Yes, we offer a full design service - whether you need your artwork set up to the correct technical specifications or you’d like a hand making it look its absolute best. Get in touch to work together.

What format should I send my files?

For professional printing, it’s best if your files are supplied as PDFs and set to the correct size with 3 mm bleeds. We print on large sheets, so having the artwork sized accurately is important. If you’re unable to set this up yourself, just let us know - our team will be happy to help. Upload any large files here

Do you do custom size posters?

Custom‑size posters are no problem. We recommend choosing your frame first, then letting us know the exact dimensions you’d like us to print to.

Do you offer eco-friendly/ FCS certified paper options?

All the paper stocks we use come from FSC‑certified sources, ensuring they’re responsibly managed and sustainably produced. We’re also committed to minimising our environmental impact by recycling all suitable offcuts and waste materials generated during production.
